Tower battle

Gouache painting

'Tower battle' is a painting exploring the story of my character, Rascal.

This painting represents how Rascal has to beat the evil that has overrun the tower by himself. In this piece, I wanted to use the contrast between dark and bright colours to make Rascal's figure a focal point.

This painting was also an exploration into developing my skills in composition and balance between two big figures and to tell more of a story through my paintings.
