Jester, Jackie, Spindle, Whiskey, and Scotch

This is a series of gouache paintings created as concept art around a set of characters I have designed a world around. This began as a simple quick sketch and quickly developed into an obsession around these creatures to the point that I have now my practice and a world around them. They are inspired heavily by Steampunk style and aesthetic, an era that never existed but was imagined to be real. These five are the original five characters that I have made.
