Here's a great example of some less-than-successful methods. The visual storytelling is vague at best.

This is one of the best examples of experimenting with tracking shots. They aren't perfect, but for the most part, they are consistently spaced.

I did try to seamlessly switch from stop-motion to video and back again, which obviously is very jarring when the stop motion is at 10fps most of the time. A mentality I had throughout these experiments was 'no second takes'. This is never more apparent when rather than attempt to animate the second part of the downward spiral, I zoomed in to cut that motion out of the shot.
